How Does E-Currency Works

Online HYIPs need a payment channel to funnel in the cash quickly so they can get to work on their investments to make a profit. The most widely used E-Currency program used as a payment processor for HYIPs is E-Gold though there are others like Liberty Reserve, E-Bullion, V-Money, Pecunix. E-Gold may be new to you as a payment processor. Since E-Gold is the most widely use, so let's talk about how to set up an account, how to use the account, and how to secure it.

The initial setup of your E-gold account is about as standard as any site registration can get. You go to the E-gold site, click on create an account, read through the user agreement and accept it, and then enter your contact details. Unlike other sites where you didn't care much about what your password was, and just wanted to be able to remember it, your "passphrase" on your E-gold account is the most important step. You want to create something that's not in any dictionary, contains a combination of letters and numbers, and cannot be "guessed" by your contact information. You should also use the "SRK Console" that E-gold provides, which is an Internet keyboard that allows you to click the keys instead of typing it out to prevent any viruses from picking up on your passphrase. Choosing a good password is a very important step to the security of your online moneymaking.

You fund your account by using an Exchange Service. An exchange service will convert your bank transfer, check, or money from other payment processors and for a fee deliver E-gold to your account. E-gold has a list of their recommended exchange services on their site.

Keeping abreast of the virus protection and updates on your computer is important when you're using an E-gold account. Identity theft is something you should be afraid of. It means that the bad, smart guy can use specific tricks to get your passwords, logins, and other sensitive information - which, of course, can include access to your e-currenty accounts. You should always use Firefox to log in, which has been proven to be a much more secure browser than Internet Explorer. Always run periodic virus scans to pick up keyloggers and trojans, and change your passphrase often, especially if you get IP change warnings from E-gold. All of these are strong ways of keeping your money and your account safe from hackers and scammers.

Learn, here how to secure your e-gold account:
Use Linux if you can as chances of malware getting there is simply too low due to it's architecture and comparatively lower number of users.

If you are using Windows XP read the following reccomendations:

1. Use Firefox browser with NoScript extension installed. Clear your cache and cookies after each browsing session.
2. Always update your anti virus and malware detectors with latest patterns. Scan your computer regularly.
3. It is advisable to install a firewall to further protect your computer.
4. Use IP URL to access e-gold, meaning use http://209.200.169.10 instead of http://www.e-gold.com.
5. Key in your password using the SRK feature instead of using keystrokes.
6. Use Roboform to generate complex long password for your e-gold and save it using Roboform. So you just need to use the 'Fill' feature of Roboform instead of using SRK.
7. Set AccSent's "Detect IP Address Change Sensitivity" to 'High'.
8. Sign up for a new email account just for e-gold purpose of receiving the AccSent pins. Never reveal this email to anyone. Gmail recommended.
9. If possible, install another non IE-based browser like Opera just for the single purpose of accessing e-gold.
10. Open another e-gold account for storage purpose if you plan to keep the money there for some time. Never reveal this e-gold number to anyone or in any website.

**Do not ever click any links in an unknown email or spams or even emails purportedly from e-gold. This applies to even chain mails sent to you from your best pals
